Web tools

Most web tools run entirely in your browser. Your input is not transmitted to the server unless the specific tool explicitly says otherwise.

What data is processed

01
In-browser processing

Tools like password check, decoders, calculators or converters process input locally in the browser. Please do not enter real passwords or confidential data.

02
Server tools

Some tools process data server-side — most notably “Share PDF”: uploaded file, file size, access token, optional password hash and automatic deletion after the chosen period.

03
Server logs

Opening the tool pages creates the usual server log data (IP, time, page, user agent).

Purpose, legal basis & storage

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (providing the function).
